Lost Embrace is a seriocomic exploration of cultural identity, arrested development, and generational reconciliation among the melting-pot entrepreneurs of Buenos Aires mal. With dreams of escaping the mall, Ariel enlists his Eastern European-born grandmother to obtain a Polis passport, but before his professed admiration of Roman Polanski and Copernicus can deliver him to the imagined paradise of Warsaw, his father mysteriously resurfaces.
