Elluminate Live (E-Live)

Kachemak Bay Campus, KPC/UAA is offering web-based Elluminate Live (E-Live) classes that are delivered in real-time so that all students in the class meet simultaneously with their instructor in cyberspace. This technology allows students and instructors to engage with each other by talking with full, 2-way audio, chat online, share video, and even view what the instructor writes on a virtual whiteboard or demonstrates in class specific software.

In order to participate in E-Live delivered classes, students’ computers must meet minimum system requirements, connection speeds, have Java Web Start, a headset to listen and speak into (available locally and in the KBC Bookstore) and must complete the Elluminate Live configuration process.

This new technology allows students to be in a virtual classroom in real-time with fellow students and their instructor. Students should be very familiar with the E-live delivery system in order to get the most out of this new technology.
