Welding Technology

Kachemak Bay Campus offers a variety of welding courses designed to prepare students to successfully pass industry certification exams in structural and pipe welding. Courses also meet requirements for a KPC or UAA two-year degree or certificate in welding. Many local, statewide and international job opportunities are available to welders in the construction, maritime, oil and transportation industries. Working in partnership with Homer High School, KBC has incorporated up-to-date equipment into our shared welding shop. Our goal is to have students learning and training on equipment similar to that which they will be using as they enter the work force.
